About Exam Of Haryana Police:-

Haryana Staff Selection Commission(HSSC) invites the online application forms for 7110 vacant posts of Police constable for male and also for female candidates. All the Candidates Who applied Online form for Haryana Police Constable will face the Written Exam. In upcoming days the Date of Examination will be announced on the Official Website. Selection Process:-

  • Written Test (Knowledge Test)
  • Physical Test (PST/ PET)
  • Interview Test Cum Personality Test
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Test

Written Test

Exam Pattern:- The Exam pattern of Haryana Police Constable and SI is as follows:

  • The Written Exam Consists of Objective Type Questions.
  • Exam Carrying total 100 no. of questions.
  • Each Question consists of 0.80 marks.
  • Maximum marks for paper is 80 marks.
  • The total time duration for the Written test is 01:30 hour(90 minutes)
  • The examination medium is Hindi and English.
  • The exam consists of 10 questions related to Computer Knowledge.
  • The Questions in Written Exam is based on 12th Class Standard.
Exam Syllabus:- 

The Exam pattern of Haryana Police Constable and SI is as follows:

General Studies:- General Knowledge of the surrounding society of Applicants, History of India (Haryana mostly), Culture of Haryana, Geography, Economical Scenario and Constitution of India & State Administration, Politics of Country, Five-Year Plan, Haryana State contribution in National Movement.

Current Affairs:- Indian Current Event Questions, General Science, General Knowledge, Current affairs of National & International news, Important dates of Events, Current Science Questions, latest technology, Sports & Culture related Questions.

Reasoning:- Verbal and non-verbal type Questions, Question from analogies, similarities and differences, Venn diagrams, problem-solving, relationship, arithmetical computation, and other analytical functions, relationship concepts and Ability to observe and distinguish patterns etc.

Numerical Ability:- Arithmetical and Numerical abilities Questions, Number Systems including Simplification, Fractions, Decimals, L.C.M., H.C.F., Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, Profit & Loss, Discount, Ratio & Proportion, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Distance, Time & Work, Tables & Graphs, etc.

General Science:- Scientific methodology concepts, principles, techniques and chemistry, physics, life sciences (Biology), technologies, the earth/space sciences etc.

Agriculture:- Question-related to Knowledge of History/ Facts of Agriculture, Crop Production, Fruits & Vegetable, Soil, Fertilizing, Fertility, Irrigation and Damage, Weed/Pests Control, Soil & Land, Types of Crops, Horticulture, Plantation and Deforestation etc.

Animal Husbandry:- About Animal Nutrition and the importance of nutritional, Animal breeds, the importance of animal, Livestock farming, diseases, and symptoms in an animal, Dairy etc.

Document Verification

For Constable:- Education Qualification Maximum Marks(07 Marks): 4 marks given for Graduation Degree and Additional 3 Marks given for Post Graduation.

For Sub-Inspector:- Education Qualification Maximum Marks(07 Marks): 4 marks given for Graduation Degree in Engineering, Law, Forensic Science, and Criminology etc. Additional 3 Marks given for Post Graduation in special streams.

NCC Certificate:- Consists 03 Marks: NCC Certificate of Level A, Level B, Level C consists of 01, 02 and 03 marks.

Interview Cum Personality Test

Two times of the total posts called for Interview test. Interview test consists of twelve marks (12). Marks are given to candidates according to their performance.
